Best Bra Recommendations
I have been asked about the best bras for any occasion or bust size. Finding a good bra is essential and it can feel nearly impossible to find one that fits your body perfectly, work well with your wardrobe choices and most importantly is comfortable. I had polled the community two years ago on best bras, but since there are a lot more of you now and this is a frequent request I decided to crowd source the topic again!
Best Coffee Maker
When selecting the right coffee maker it seems there are a million different options out there, each claiming to be the ‘best cup of coffee’ and the ‘only machine you’ll need’. After years of basic single serve coffee, we bought a Breville Espresso Machine last year and I can truly say that it is incredible. I polled the community on your favorite single, drip, espresso and espresso + coffee machine options out there, and the results did not disappoint!
Strollers
Selecting the right stroller for your family can be overwhelming. There are so many options to choose from when it comes to what brand and what functionality fits your family now - and later! This was one of the largest participated community polls to date! Because this is a big purchase you want to make sure you are thinking of all the things that go into this. I polled you on the best strollers for single, double, travel, jogging and most affordable; and there was a clear favorite for each category with some honorable mentions.
Travel Car Seats
Traveling can be overwhelming with kids, especially managing all the gear you have to pack to ensure your kids are safe, comfortable and happy. I polled you all on the best travel car seats for all ages, and there was a clear favorite for each category.
Wagons
Summer months are upon us, which means it is time to break out the wagons! For anything from mornings at the farmers market to days at the zoo or beach. This was another highly requested community poll and I was happy to see that most of the winners align with the products I have been sharing over the last few with you as my top picks. For each category, there was one clear winner as the favorite!
Nursing & Postpartum Friendly Clothes
Dressing during the postpartum months can feel impossible. Especially if you are nursing or pumping and trying to go out in public it is tricky to feel like you can be cute and comfortable while wearing things with easy access. Well, you all really showed up for this postpartum poll and I know there are a lot of expecting mamas or those in their postpartum days right now that were anxiously waiting for the results of this poll so let's get to it!
Outdoor Playsets
Many of you are in the market for a good outdoor play set for your kids. This is a big purchase and there are tons of options out there, so I have narrowed it down to the top 3 brands that were submitted in my community poll! Many of you who participated said it is well worth it to hire someone to also do the set up.
Maternity Clothes
Dressing when you are pregnant can be such a challenge! Your body is changing every week and it can be so frustrating to get dressed every morning while feeling comfortable and confident. There are many factors to consider like what season you will be the most pregnant in, what your daily wardrobe looks like (workwear vs casual), how your body changes and how much you are willing to spend. I am a big believer in investing in a few maternity essentials and otherwise trying to get by wearing regular oversized clothes or layers.
Luggage
The results are in for the best luggage, which encompasses anything from a trusty suitcase to essentials like a toiletry bag or packing cubes. This has been such a popular request in my question box week over week and I am happy to leverage the experience of our community to crowdsource the best products out there! Luggage is not something you use daily, but when you need it you want it to be reliable and last you years.
Vacuums
Is it just me or is there something really exciting about being in your 30’s and getting a good vacuum? Honestly a good vacuum can be life changing! With 2 kids and a lab we vacuum at least once a day, so investing in a good one was really worth it to us. I polled the audience on your favorite vacuums for anything from a handheld to upright to cordless model and the results in each category were VERY consistent. The top winner in each category tripled any other submission that came in.
Ruggable Rugs
When I polled you all for best rugs, Ruggables immediately rose to the top as a favorite brand. However, most people had a comment or two to share about them which led me to dive a little deeper. I polled and discovered that over 30% of you who said you love yours haven't actually washed it yet and this is when some of the cons start to come into play. I don't think I have ever gotten such consistent feedback about a product. It is clear there are absolutely pros and cons of these rugs, which I will outline below that hopefully can help influence your decision on if this machine washable rug is for you.
Scrubs
I have never worked in health care, so when I got the request many times for the best scrubs, this was the perfect opportunity for a community poll. Without a doubt, nothing came close to how many people shared their love of the brand Figs! There were a few things to note. Read below to find out what the community said.
Mattresses
A very frequent product request I get is for the best mattress for anyone from yourself to your kid transitioning to a bed to a baby. A mattress is a big investment and something you want to love, the thought of going out to buy and test one sounds like a miserable use of your time though, so I hope this is helpful and gives you more confidence in this buying decision!

The people that make our worlds go round, they take care of our kids, our house and our health. We have been chatting in stories quite a bit about what the best gifts are to give those essential workers in our life. We often feel so indebted to them because we cannot imagine our life without them and so we want them to feel our appreciation. The postpartum time frame can be such a roller coaster and is a unique experience for each Mom. This community came out in full force to share your favorite products that helped you get through this time, whether you had a vaginal delivery or c-section. My advice would be to prepare with a few essentials, but also don't get too ahead of yourself because a lot of these products can be specific to your labor and postpartum experience and you will likely find yourself ordering at 2am days after delivery.
