Back to School Essentials
Back to school is just around the corner! Schools, especially in the south, start to go back as soon as early August, so I am sharing my favorite products to prepare you for what essentials you may need before the first day!
Daycare and Preschool Essentials
Daycare + Preschool Essentials: Sending your little one to daycare or preschool for the first time can be overwhelming! It is enough to manage the emotions of dropping them off in the hands of others, let alone knowing all the essentials you will need for the baby through toddler stage. All 3 of our kids have gone to daycare since they were infants and here are the must haves that we have used throughout the years!
Toddler and Little Kid Sneakers
Back to school is just around the corner which often means it is time to buy new sneakers for your kid's growing feet! Here are some of my favorite sneakers for toddlers and little kids!
Easter Basket Stuffers for Ages 0-2
If you are celebrating one of your child's first Easters, I love to stuff their Easter basket with a mix of practical items they will need for spring and summer, along with some fun sensory toys that will get good use as they continue to develop and explore the world around them!
Easter Basket Stuffers for Ages 3+
Easter Basket stuffers for toddlers and kids are a great time to gift them fun activities for the warmer months ahead, along with practical things you may need to upgrade for them anyways as they continue to grow! Here are plenty of cute ideas to throw in their Easter basket that will be sure to entertain them and set them up for spring and summer!
Easter Books for Kids
You all know by now I love building a book collection for my kids for every holiday! There are so many great Easter books out there for kids of all ages that both celebrate the meaning of the holiday and also the change of seasons welcoming Spring! I have broken down my recommendations into two categories. First, board books that are great for younger kids, many of which include lift-a-flaps and interactive pages. And secondly, story books for kids who are a little older and love to sit through and understand the meaning of a story or perhaps read one themselves!
Valentine’s Day Books
I adore a good holiday book and there is no shortage of them for Valentine's Day. All of these books celebrate the importance of love among family and friends. There are good options for anyone from a baby celebrating their first Valentine's day to older kids.
Valentine’s Day Gifts for Toddlers + Kids
Valentine's Day is a fun holiday to celebrate with kids and make them feel extra special and loved. It's smack dab in the middle of dreary winter and I think a great excuse to create some little traditions as a family. For us, that involves making heart shaped waffles for breakfast, leaving out little gift baskets for the kids and finishing the day with heart shaped pizza! Here are some fun gift ideas to spoil your little loves.
Valentine’s Day Gifts for Babies
Valentine's Day calls for showering your littlest love with even more love! Make their first holiday special, I like to always buy a few gifts that are practical things I will likely already need for them like teethers, essentials for meal time or sensory toys.
Classroom Valentines
When it comes to bringing Valentines to school or daycare, I prefer something functional and cute over candy! Here is a collection of favors my kids and I have done throughout the years that have been a hit.
Best of 2025
Where has the year gone?? As corporate girlies at heart—both of us having spent 10–15 years working for a large retailer—it’s hard not to use the end of the year to sit down and reflect on what’s transpired. This has been a big year of growth and change for our business. Behind the scenes, things are constantly evolving, and much of the day-to-day work is made up of tasks that, as consumers, you would never see. Below we have recapped what has resonated the most with you throughout the year across different retailers and content.
Favorite Things Gift Guide 2025
Every year my friends and I host a Favorite Things Party during the holidays, and it has truly become one of my favorite traditions—one I hope we keep going for decades. The rules are simple: everyone brings a wrapped gift at an agreed-upon value (this year was $50-75), and we draw numbers to determine the order. When it's your turn, you can either open a new gift or steal one that’s already been opened. Each gift can only be stolen twice before it’s “dead,” and whoever draws #1 gets the final steal once everyone has a gift, making it the best number to have.
It’s always such a fun way to discover new products our friend group is loving.
Toy Storage
As parents we find ourselves swimming in toys. How on earth am I going to store all of these little pieces and keep them organized? We polled our community on the type of toy storage solutions you were looking for and have so many great recommendations. We ordered all of these items and personally tried them out for you to ensure they were good solutions.
Gifts for Babies
Celebrate the joy of new beginnings with these fun gifts for baby's first holiday season! From plush toys that spark joy to developmental toys that encourage learning, we've rounded up the best gifts for your littlest one. These gifts are tried and true that I have loved over the years and will last beyond the baby stage.
Stocking Stuffers for Babies
A baby's first holiday season is such a special one, especially for the parents. Their first stocking (although they will have no idea it exists) is a great place to gift them fun toys and practical items they will need. Here are some of my favorite products that are perfect for stuffing that stocking!
Gifts for Toddlers Ages 1-2
Ages 1 and 2 are such a fun range to celebrate the holidays and buy gifts for, as their minds and skills are developing so quickly. Their motor skills, language, and curiosity about the world around them makes for so many great gifts to help foster these skills. The best part is that they won't outgrow these toys and activiites as fast as they outgrew the baby phase.
Gifts for Toddlers Ages 3-5
Toddlers between the age of 3-5 are truly the best to celebrate the holidays with as they start to really develop an understanding of tradition and have such a genuine excitement for all the magic of the season. They are also obsessed with receiving gifts and so the fun in giving them something you know will spark pure joy is truly unmatched. This round up of gifts are, in my opinion, some of the best toys for their development and skills at these ages where they start to show more independence and creativity.
Stocking Stuffers for Toddlers
Stocking stuffers for toddlers are one of my favorite categories to shop for. Rather than stuff them with random junk, there are endless ideas for practical, fun and useful things you likely would be buying that make fun gifts!
Gifts for Big Kids
Kids ages 6 and older are bursting with curiosity, creativity, and energy. They are now becoming obsessed with certain hobbies, playing with their friends and discovering the world around them. Here is a roundup of winning toys for kids beyond the toddler phase as they really start to grow up and show independence, patience and a fun creative side.
