Favorite Things Gift Guide 2025
2025Every year my friends and I host a Favorite Things Party during the holidays, and it has truly become one of my favorite traditions—one I hope we keep going for decades. We had two different parties this year and the gifts were so good, from beauty, to apparel to home goods we covered it all.
The rules are simple: everyone brings a wrapped gift at an agreed-upon value (this year both parties were between $50-75), and we draw numbers to determine the order. When it's your turn, you can either open a new gift or steal one that’s already been opened. Each gift can only be stolen twice before it’s “dead,” and whoever draws #1 gets the final steal once everyone has a gift, making it the best number to have.
It’s always such a fun way to discover new products our friend group is loving. This year, two fun gifts weren’t linkable but were so good. One friend brought $75 worth of Trader Joe’s greeting cards, her holy grail. Another brought Tinge Textiles dinner napkins and a throw blanket from our friend’s own brand. She hand-dyes everything from socks, linens, clothing, and so many of us own pieces because they’re truly one-of-a-kind and beautiful.
