Favorite Things Gift Guide 2025
2025Every year my friends and I host a Favorite Things Party during the holidays, and it has truly become one of my favorite traditions—one I hope we keep going for decades.
The rules are simple: everyone brings a wrapped gift at an agreed-upon value (this year was $50-75), and we draw numbers to determine the order. When it's your turn, you can either open a new gift or steal one that’s already been opened. Each gift can only be stolen twice before it’s “dead,” and whoever draws #1 gets the final steal once everyone has a gift, making it the best number to have.
It’s always such a fun way to discover new products our friend group is loving. This year, two fun gifts weren’t linkable but were so good. One friend brought $75 worth of Trader Joe’s greeting cards, her holy grail. Another brought Tinge Textiles dinner napkins and a throw blanket from our friend’s own brand. She hand-dyes everything from socks, linens, clothing, and so many of us own pieces because they’re truly one-of-a-kind and beautiful.
