Strollers

Selecting the right stroller for your family can be overwhelming. There are so many options to choose from when it comes to what brand and what functionality fits your family now - and later!

This was one of the largest participated community polls to date! Because this is a big purchase you want to make sure you are thinking of all the things that go into this. I polled you on the best strollers for single, double, travel, jogging and most affordable; and there was a clear favorite for each category with some honorable mentions.

Single Stroller: By a landslide you all love the UppaBaby brand; specifically the Vista and the Cruz. While they are similar, the stand out feature on the Vista is that it has the option to have the bassinet AND add a second seat for when your family grows! I currently own this one and can say from experience the option to add the adapter for the rumble seat was so clutch when my daughter was born and my son was still wanting to sit in the stroller. So many of you also mentioned that their Vista has lasted them years, through multiple kids and most notably, the under carriage for storage is unmatched- there is no compromising, from full grocery shops to a day at the beach, it fits it all. The Vista stroller with Bassinet is $999 and the Cruz comes in at $699.

An honorable mention was the Bob Gear Revolution Single stroller ($549). People love the Bob brand as much as the Uppa baby, but the feature they liked the most was that the Bob is great for all terrains, jogging, and everyday use and kids don’t outgrow it like they do the Uppa Baby. I also own this stroller for running and love it!

Double Stroller: There were two standouts among all of the submissions. One of the biggest things to consider when getting any double stroller is the front and back option or a side by side. The Bob Gear Revolution double stroller ($799) came in as the number one option, with the Zoe Twin ($449) a close second! The Bob is a side by side stroller, which is great as the kids get older they both fit no problem . People love that it can be used for everyday use or running. It is a bit clunkier and weighs 33 lbs, so getting it in and out of a car can be cumbersome, but when using kids can get in and out of it really easily.

The Zoe Twin + was the runner up for your favorite double stroller options.  People love that this stroller is so light, coming in at 19lbs and is really easy to collapse if you are on the go a lot! With the added ease of this stroller people also love that it fits through doorways as it is side by side, and is not clunky. When comparing the Zoe Twin to the UppaBaby Vista (which can turn into a double with the rumble seat), people really love that the Zoe can fit kids longer, whereas the Vista can be outgrown quicker.

Travel Stroller: The next poll was for best travel stroller, and coming in at almost a tie was the Zoe Tour ($249) and the Summer Infant 3d Lite ($99). Starting with the Summer Infant 3d Lite, people loved the price tag first and foremost - for traveling I don’t think you can beat something that is under $100 and compacts well! Some of the attributes that everyone called out was the tall handles (no hunching over), the ample storage and ability for it to fully recline is great for naps on the go.  One of the downsides of this travel stroller is that it does not fit in the overhead bins on airplanes, so it should be checked at the gate.

The Zoe Tour and Zoe Traveler were very close seconds, both are $249, and overall this brand was mentioned a lot throughout the poll as a great stroller brand in general. The Traveler is more compact, so it fits in the overhead bins on the airplane.  The Tour is compatible with a car seat adapter and has the option to add on a seat for more everyday use.

Jogging Stroller: The favorite jogging stroller had a clear winner and that was the Bob Revolution hands down! The Bob comes in both single and double so it is whatever style is more convenient for your lifestyle.

Affordable Stroller: Our last poll was for most affordable and the Mockingbird Single to Double stroller was hands down the number one! This stroller is $450 and is both a single and double option.  The single is great and is very comparable to the Uppa Baby look for half the cost, but the downside is when adding in the second seat it feels unstable. Overall a really cost effective option if you want something that is aesthetically pleasing and a highly rated pick!
