Best Women’s Leggings
2025Let’s be real, leggings are an essential part of every woman’s wardrobe. Whether they are for lounging, working out, running errands or everyday, they are a piece of clothing we want to not only look good in but it is essential we feel good in them too.
There are so many awesome athleisure brands out there, so we polled the community on what your ride or die leggings are. If you could only wear one pair of leggings for the rest of your life, what ones are the GOAT. The ones that stay put, flatter your figure in all the right places and withstand the wear and tear of how often they are worn. The results are in, so let’s get into it!
The number one submission was Athleta! This brand is beloved by this community for sure and I also like that their price point is lower than some of their competitors like Lulu or Vuori, but offer better quality than some of the value brands out there. The two stand out styles are the Salutation and Elation. Both known for their buttery-soft performance fabrics and are best for light to medium impact activities or everyday wear. The Salutation style has medium compression with side pockets (one of the favorite features mentioned multiple times). The Elation style has an ultra high rise with zero side seams. Both come in a ton of color options. Available in sizes XXS to 3X!
The runner up for best legging was CRZ Yoga from Amazon! I own the biker shorts and the price cannot be beat, they are literally butter soft and incredibly comfortable to wear. The Butterluxe High Waisted Lounge legging was mentioned as the number one style within this brand (also available with pockets here). For the taller girlies they also come in 28” inseams here, as well as with pockets here. CRZ yoga has a ton of colors and majority of their styles come in XS-XL, as well as plus styles/sizing.
Last but certainly not least, Lululemon is a favorite! Karlie and I both own several pairs of these and can attest to why they are so popular! While they are expensive, they are for sure worth it. The Align High Rise styles are the most popular, and come in a ton of colors, available in inseams ranging from 23-31 inches. They also come with pockets here and textures like the Ribbed Align High Rise Leggings, which I own and adore! The reason the Aligns stand out to me is because during pregnancy and postpartum, I could wear my same size the entire time, still felt comfortable and they didn’t stretch out. Another Lululemon favorite style is the Wunder Unders, the real MVP when it comes to working out. These are also available in 23-31 inch inseams.
There were 3 brands that were honorable mentions and I wanted to include because they were at all different price points. Old Navy’s High-Waisted PowerSoft 7/8 Pocket Leggings, and OFFLINE By Aerie Real Me High Waisted Crossover Legging are great value price points that offer bang for your buck (similar to CRZ Yoga), and the Vuori All The Feels Leggings are my personal favorites, at a higher price point like Lulu, but amazing quality. I like my Vuori ones better than Lulu because the fabric does not pill at all and they have the right amount of compression to flatter any body shape without feeling restrictive.
