My husband is a hockey lover through and through, started on skates when he was a toddler and still plays weekly. He had our son on skates as soon as he could walk essentially, if you have a little one you want to get on the ice start with these Bauer youth velcro skates, recommended for age 5 and under. After that you will want to switch to lace ups. Sizing for skates is odd, you will want to size down a whole size in these. Happy skating!
