Trust me on this one - I was the mom-to-be that wanted limited contraptions and rainbow colored crap around my house but this is the holy grail of mats. Your neutral-colored fancy one that is 3x as expensive will not compete because Fisher Price KNOWS WHATS UP. My two babies have spent hours of their life happy and enthralled, giving mama a break.
